At AIDB, we’re deeply committed to empowering Alabamians of all ages with sensory challenges to live fully and independently. Through our Senior Services Department, we’re proud to extend this mission to older adults across the state. 

Our services include: 

• Hearing and Vision Screenings
• Educational Training and Workshops
• Case Management
• Referral and Resources
• Benefits Counseling
• In-home Support 

We also partner with the East Alabama Regional Planning and Development Commission’s Area Agency on Aging to provide qualifying Alabamians aged 55 and older with free medication assistance. No matter what you need, our dedicated team is here to help you live your best life.
