ACT Readiness Training

NRSC @ AIDB partners with Cantrell & Waller Preparatory Services, an ACT-approved provider with a licensed, continuously updated curriculum aligned to current ACT standards. We offer ACT preparation workshops for students who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) and their teachers, focused on building familiarity with the structure and content of the ACT, effective test-taking strategies for the English and Reading sections, and the use of accessible tools and resources that support DHH learners throughout the preparation process.
Educators participate in a virtual professional learning experience that includes a combined overview session and targeted breakout sessions in Reading/English and Math/Science. Each participant can purchase a digital curriculum license that is valid for 365 days.
This training strengthens college and career readiness by equipping educators with ACT-aligned instructional strategies that support statewide testing, graduation requirements, and postsecondary entrance pathways. The professional learning also integrates with IXL Learning, allowing ACT scores to be uploaded to generate customized intervention plans. Teachers receive actionable data to target skill gaps in Reading, English, Math, and Science, enabling individualized instruction and accelerated student growth.
