NTID Regional STEM Center

Students being creative!
  • AIDB collaborated with the National Technical Institute for the Deaf to form the NTID Regional STEM Center(NRSC), which is housed on the campus of AIDB in Talladega, AL.  The mission of the NRSC is to promote STEM education and career awareness for students who are Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing in primary and secondary schools. The region we serve reflects twelve states in the Southeast: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.

This includes, but is not limited to, mainstream and residential programs.  The best part is that these services are free. Please browse through our trainings, resources, and camps to see how we can provide support for you.  We have something for everyone - students, teachers, and interpreters.
