Kyle Gregg Named Chief Information Officer at AIDB
Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind (AIDB) is proud to announce the promotion of Kyle Gregg to the position of Chief Information Officer.

Gregg joined AIDB in 2021 as Executive Director of Alabama Industries for the Blind (AIB), where he led a diverse portfolio of operations including two manufacturing facilities, six retail locations, and seven service-based federal contracts with the Department of Defense and the Internal Revenue Service, representing over $45 million in annual revenue.

In 2023, Gregg was named Director of Information Technology at AIDB. In this capacity, he provided strategic leadership and oversight for the Institute’s Information Technology Department. He ensured AIDB’s compliance with key regulatory frameworks, including National Institute of Standards and Technology, Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification. Gregg also served as the primary liaison to the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center (MS-ISAC) for cyber threat intelligence and cybersecurity initiatives.
Gregg holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Jacksonville State University. He is a U.S. Army veteran, having served as an All-Source Senior Intelligence Analyst. He also brings to his role a robust portfolio of IT certifications, as well as deep expertise in intelligence analysis, team leadership, customer relations, and staff development.
