Welcome to AIDB's Outreach department, serving students who are deaf or hard of hearing across the state of Alabama! Our team is committed to being a neutral partner in the educational process, supporting the success of children with hearing loss. We do this by observing & getting to know their individual needs, testing if needed, and consulting with their parents and schools.  This free service allows us to also attend students' special education eligibility meetings, as well as IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings. For those unfamiliar with the state's various processes, we're here to guide you through them.
