Special Projects
AIDB Special Projects Department is AIDB's collaborative effort to invest additional time and funding with federal partners in order to support the mission of AIDB: To prepare individuals to reach their limitless potential by providing superior staff, facilities, training, and programs. It is our goal to expand services beyond our campus programs and even beyond our state borders.
Special Projects consist of Special Education Coordination, The NTID Regional STEM Center at AIDB, The Center for Assistive Technology Training, The Early Language Acquisition Project, and the Agricultural Education Program. Special Projects has been very fortunate to have support from many different areas; AIDB Board of Trustees, AIDB President Dr. John Mascia, and strong Legislative support in Washington, DC, and Alabama.
