National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) Regional STEM Center (NRSC)

  • NRSC Mission

    The NRSC - AIDB mission is to promote Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education initiatives and career awareness for students who are deaf and hard of hearing (DHH) in middle and high school. This includes but is not limited to, mainstream and residential programs.

    • NRSC offers the following programs: STEM in Agriculture, MarineLab, & STEM Academy Transition Program.
    • STEM and Literacy Workshops for Teachers & Interpreters.
    • All the programs and services are provided at no cost.
    • Audience: Teachers, Parents, Interpreters, Employers, and Vocational Rehabilitation.

    NRSC serves the southeastern United States: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.
