AIDB collaborated with the National Technical Institute for the Deaf to form the NTID Regional STEM Center (NRSC), which is housed on the campus of AIDB in Talladega, AL. The mission of the NRSC is to promote STEM educational initiatives and career awareness for students who are Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing in primary and secondary schools. The region we serve reflects twelve states in the Southeast: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. If you are not in these states, do not despair. Keep reading for more information about national programs!
This includes, but is not limited to, mainstream and residential programs. The best part is that these services are free. Please browse through our training, resources, and camps to see how we can provide support for you. We have something for everyone - students, teachers, and interpreters.
In addition to all our regular services, the NRSC has four nationwide programs - Cybersecurity, English & Reading Literacy, M.E.L.D., and Robotics. Please check out each section elsewhere on this site.
AIDB places a high priority on accessibility to all our programs and, together with Blackboard, has taken great care to provide a quality website. If you have a question or need to report an accessibility or functionality issue with this site please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
