All About The Joe Tom Armbrester Agriscience Center (JTA)

  • The JTA is a place where students and clients who have special needs can come and experience life on a farm. The Center is designed to meet the needs of students/clients who are hearing, visually and physically impaired.

The Center will be located at Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind (AIDB) campus and service ages pre-K to adults.

"We take pride in the diversity of our people and in the diversity of our programs. Those with sensory loss need hands-on training and Agriscience allows our students to experience something new and challenging.” - AIDB President Dr. John Mascia
