Summer Camp
Summer Camp at HKS is a fun life-skills event designed to discover and build upon your child’s talents, skills and strengths. Small-group activities include arts and crafts, music, sensory integration, water play, horse-back riding, simple food preparation, and community outings in a safe and supportive environment with low adult/student ratios. It’s fun, meaningful and educational! After camp, parents receive a detailed assessment report, explaining your child’s strengths, weaknesses, and recommendations, as well as information about possible AIDB enrollment, if interested. The application process begins around March of each year, and camp lasts for one week each June. Space is usually limited to only 12 campers, so don’t wait long to apply!
