Creative Arts
Each HKS student has the opportunity to attend our Creative Arts class at least once a week on campus.  Throughout the year, students experience the arts through touch and sound.  Their imaginations are expanded with each lesson.

HKS Library
The Helen Keller School Library offers an Accelerated Reading Program including Braille and American Sign Language (ASL) to its students.  Students read books and take reading comprehension tests on computers through Renaissance Learning software.  Click here to see our librarian's page.

Agribusiness
Currently, students aging 14 to 21 take part in real world, hands on activities including gardening, recycling, animal care, and more.  For more information about the Agricultural program at HKS, please click here.

Marianna Greene Henry Special Equestrian Program
Many HKS students visit the Marianna Green Henry Special Equestrian Program to learn how to relate to people by developing a relationship with a gentle, nonjudgmental animal first.  Balance, posture, strength and flexibility are all positive gains with hippotherapy.  For more information regarding hippotherapy and the Marianna Green Henry Special Equestrian Program, please click here.
