I have had the privilege of serving students in Alabama for twenty years.  In my twenty years of education, I worked with students at every level from Pre-K to college.  I have been able to share models of co-teaching all over the state of Alabama as well as at the national level.  You might still see some of our DVDs on co-teaching with the Alabama State Department of Education.  I also worked with the state department to create a curriculum guide for Social Studies/History.  My experiences include working with the State Personnel Development Grant on CHAMPS, Foundations, and other similar grants.  I completed the Superintendent's Academy through the University of Alabama and I am currently the President-Elect for the Alabama Council for Exceptional Children.  Helen Keller School of Alabama has a special place in my heart where everyone is so welcoming and kind.
