Students in grades 9-12 can join the ASB Drama Club. Auditions are not required. Students participate in acting games, improvisations, and skits to learn acting and team building skills. The entire Drama Club presents a full-length play in November. Throughout the school year, the group presents shorter plays, skits, and monologues for various occasions, including a performing arts program during South Central Association of Schools for the Blind competitions. A theater class is offered as an elective for Seniors where they study acting, stage management, and directing. They also write plays and read or watch famous plays.
