STEM Academy Camp - June 13-July 10, 2021
Are you Deaf or Hard of Hearing?
Will you be in grades 9-12 in the fall of 2021?
Are you at least 15 years old? (14 years old may be accepted on a case by case basis)
Are you interested in science, technology, engineering, and/or math?
Are you confident in your science and math skills?
Would you like to learn about a possible career in Biotechnology, Mechatronic Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Marine Biology?
If yes, then the STEM Academy Camp may be for you! You can choose to attend one, two, or all tracks!
BioTech & Mechatronic Engineering Camp (Huntsville, AL)
June 13-26, 2021
During the first week, spend half a day every day exploring DNA and genome concepts in an authentic Biotech lab. In the second week, get a chance to work on a mock NASA project for an actual Deaf NASA Engineer.
GenCyber Camp (Huntsville, AL)
June 27 - July 3, 2021
Campers will explore potential careers in cybersecurity through hands-on experiences in programming, digital forensics, cryptography, networking, and online safety.
MarineLab Camp (Key Largo, FL) - This camp is limited to *Southeast region residents only
July 5-10, 2021
This camp's STEM core curriculum consists of seagrass, mangrove, and coral reef ecology. Evening discussions on coral reef ecology and fish identification, along with labs on invertebrate diversity and zooplankton identification are also part of the camp experience. Boating and snorkeling activities are included!

South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.
