Welcome to the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind (AIDB) Shoals Regional Center. We are located in Tuscumbia, Alabama that is better known as “Ivy Green”, the birthplace of Helen Keller. The Shoals Regional Center purpose is and has always been about transforming lives. We believe that all people should be defined by their accomplishments and not their limitations. Our professional staff teach independence and not dependence by aspiring to excellent, providing integrity in all we do, dedication to consumers and believing in each persons potential. The services can be provided individually or in a group setting. Services begin with infants to adulthood.
